OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

NODL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Here at Northside Counselling and Play Therapy we are grateful to be able to share our space with Nodl Occupational Therapy. Nodl works with children and families, supporting them to develop important life skills, enhancing their independence and enjoyment in everyday life.

Some of the main occupations for children include play, self-care, learning and socialising. An Occupational Therapist will review your child’s strengths and challenges and can support skill development across a range of areas including Fine Motor, Gross Motor, School Readiness, Social and Emotional Learning, Self Regulation, Visual Perception, Cognition, Sensory Processing and mastering everyday activities. Building capacity in these areas helps children to feel happier and more confident in achieving the things they want and need to be able to do every day.

Nodl Occupational Therapy can provide individualised assessments and therapy treatment plans which are designed specifically around your child’s therapy goals and also work collaboratively with allied health professionals - such as ourselves, teachers and other key people in your team, building resources, tools and supports to optimise the translation of learning between therapy, school and home life.
