CLINICAL SUPERVISION

INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP CLINICAL SUPERVISION NOW AVAILABLE

Clinical supervision is essential for counsellors to enhance their skills, reflect on their practice, and ensure the highest standard of care for their clients. Kerri-Anne, the Director of Northside Counselling and Play Therapy and a PACFA accredited supervisor, is offering clinical supervision services for counsellors working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers.

CURRENT GROUPS WITH AVAILABLE SPACES

- 12pm to 2pm Mondays commencing Feb 3, 2025, fortnightly or monthly spaces available 

- 5.30pm to 7.30pm Wednesdays commencing Feb 12, 2025, fortnightly or monthly spaces available 

- $80+GST per 2hr session, payment for session confirms spot 

- Delivered via Zoom, maximum group size of 4

- Please contact us if neither of these times suit or if you have a group that would like to do supervision together and we will let you know the availability

- $150+GST per hour


The modalities and frameworks Kerri-Anne uses most often are: 

- Child centered play therapy

- Attachment theory (specifically the circle of security model)

- EMDR (EMDRAA full member - child and adolescent trained)

- Parts work

- Solution focused therapy

- Cognitive behavioral therapy

Her client work is extensive and she now prefers to take on clients with the following presentations: - Complex trauma, PTSD and intergenerational trauma

- Attachment Difficulties

- Difficulties arising from neurodivergence (particularly in high IQ individuals who do not necessarily present as expected)

- OCD

- Medical Trauma

- Mental health difficulties arising from chronic illness (e.g. Type 1 Diabetes)

- Grief and loss

 

Kerri-Anne has built this practice from the ground up and employs and contracts a number of counsellors and social workers. She also has 15 years of small business, management and HR experience across a variety of industries. She is able to support both those looking to fine tune their practice or start a private practice of their own.

 

Through reflective discussions, case consultations, and skill-building exercises, Kerri-Anne aims to support others in deepening their understanding of different techniques and approaches, ultimately enhancing the quality of care they provide to their clients.
