CIRCLE OF SECURITY™
WHAT IS CIRCLE OF SECURITY™?

The Circle of Security™ is a framework used to understand and enhance the relationship between parents/caregivers and children. Children need a balance of feeling safe exploring the world and seeking comfort from their caregivers. The Circle of Security™ offers a great visual and illustrates how parents and caregivers can support this need by understanding and meeting their children's emotional needs, in turn, promoting secure attachment and healthy development.

The 8-week program is designed to help parents and caregivers build secure relationships with their children, promoting emotional resilience and healthy attachment bonds. This program is based on decades of research in the fields of psychology and child development. Through interactive sessions and guided discussions, participants will learn how to better understand their child's emotional needs and behaviors, while also exploring their own responses and patterns of interaction.

By participating in the Circle of Security™ program, parents and caregivers can gain valuable insights and practical tools to strengthen their relationship with their child, foster secure attachments, and promote positive social and emotional development. It aims to empower parents and caregivers to create a nurturing and supportive environment that allows children to thrive and grow.

Group and Individual Sessions are available with Vanessa, Kerri-Anne and Jennifer. You can learn more about them here.
